Live Music with Ye Vagabonds

With special guest Lucy Clearwater

Thursday, February 12th - 6pm

If you’ve met us then you’ve heard about our ties to Ireland. We are so excited to host our talented friends, Brían and Diarmuid of Ye Vagabonds, for a special concert in the Parkfield Cafe!

The Mac Gloinn brothers – Brian and Diarmuid – first performed in the streets together as buskers and have since evolved into a robust collective – a sonically unique ensemble featuring layered acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, upright bass, Moog synthesizer, harmonium, bouzouki, fiddle, and the blood harmony of the siblings’ distinctive, multi-hued voices. Having been described as “being at the fore of a new wave of Irish folk”, they have won Best Track, Best Album and Best Folk Group at RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards. Their forthcoming and much anticipated new studio album, All Tied Together, was recorded mostly live in an old Galway house, with acclaimed producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker) at the helm and is released in January 2026 via Rough Trade / River Lea.

Born in a bathtub in a cookie factory in California, Lucy Clearwater is an acoustic folk/Americana singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and nature-loving old soul with a background in classical violin. Since moving to LA in 2016, she’s released numerous singles and EPs (Feel Again, Casual, Augenlieder, and April), sold out beloved venues like The Hotel Cafe, and graced the stage at iconic venues such as The Troubadour and The El Rey. Drawing inspiration from the artists she grew up listening to such as Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Lucinda Williams, she spent most of 2024 touring internationally, and sharing the stage with artists like John Craigie, Madison Cunningham, Victoria Canal, Philine Sonny, and Luca Fogale to name a few. Clearwater won the 2024 New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival, and returned for a notable performance on the main stage in 2025. Her heartfelt, vulnerable songwriting and rich acoustic sound resonate deeply. With three singles from her debut LP already released, Clearwater is steadily inching towards releasing her full album, produced by Grammy award winner Tyler Chester. Tissues are a good accessory at any Lucy Clearwater concert!
