Trail Rides

California's V6 Ranch is available for trail riding groups who wish to bring their own horses and explore the ranch with trail maps provided by the V6. We also offer scheduled trail rides at different dates throughout the year with planned events, meals, and entertainment. If you don't own a horse, but would like to enjoy a full day of trail riding through the V6 Ranch's many miles of trails, the ranch has horses for hire suitable for all levels of riders. These rides are guided and are by reservation only. The V6 Ranch offers RV hookups, showers, a warmup arena, indoor dining, meals, log cabanas, swimming, and fishing for its trail riders. If you have a group with or without horses, we can customize a trail ride for you!

Arabian Horse Association Trail Ride

Trail Ride; April 09 - 13, 2008

This Arabian Horse Association sponsored ride will be held on the majestic grounds of the V6 Ranch in Parkfield, California. All Breeds Welcome!

Cost: $650 AHA Member rate per person (riders and non-riders)
$750 Rate with horse rental per person
$650 Non-Member rate per person (riders and non-riders)

2008 Ranch Life 102

Trail Ride; July 18 - 20, 2008

Bring your horse or use one of ours and join us in the beautiful hills of central California. You will have the opportunity to spend plenty of time in the saddle with working cowboys and cowgirls whether it's riding, learning how to work cattle horseback, team sorting, rope handling and more. Learn traditional Vaquero horsemanship from Hall of Fame Honoree, Sheila Varian. Pitch your own tent at the camping facilities which include modern restrooms and showers, water hookups for your trailer or RV, and a log-style indoor eating area.

Cost: $600-$800 per person

2008 AQHA Trail Ride and Ranch Skills Outing

Trail Ride; October 15 - 19, 2008

V6 Ranch is a working cattle ranch. Come live the life of a cowboy/cowgirl for a few days. We will be roping, gathering, sorting cattle and trail riding. Those who have experience and those that do not will equally enjoy this weekend of ranch living.

Cost: $650 per person or $175 per day
