V6 Ranch and Parkfield are located in the coastal mountain range in the southeast corner of Monterey County. The first to discover this special place were the Yokut Indians who named the valley "Cholame," which means "the beautiful one." We're sure that you'll call it "fabulous".

Our All-inclusive Dude Ranch Getaway Weekend runs from Thursday evening to Sunday around noon and is just $700 per person double occupancy, $850 for individuals, and $550 for children 12 and under.

The Lodge:
The cozy log cabin lodge is surrounded by rolling hills covered with oaks and prominent mountains. We have eight quiet rooms far from the bustling sounds of the city. You'll be able to relax in comfort and recall what true peace and quiet really sounds like. Enjoy a welcome basket of wine and other treats upon your arrival.

The Ride & Exclusive Cattle Drive:
The 20,000 acre V6 Ranch will remind you of days gone by. It's a working cattle ranch raising the finest all natural grass-fed beef. We'll take you on a guided trail ride Friday and Sunday. In addition, on Saturday you will participate in a unique cattle drive experience as we move cattle through downtown Parkfield. Make sure your camera is charged and ready. As Gene Autry says, "You'll be back in the saddle again". But don't worry; we have horses to accommodate all levels of riding skills.

Wine Tasting:
Each afternoon while you relax in the Lodge, The Cafe or Poolside, you can experience a wide variety of our local wines. Wine lovers worldwide agree that the region is well known for producing outstanding affordable wines.

Hike & Fishing:
Sign up for an afternoon hike across the famous San Andreas Fault. We will take a moderate hike for those of you who want a little extra adventure so bring your hiking shoes. If fishing is you hobby sign up to try your hand at our lake filled with bass and bluegill.

Massage:
Nothing will help you unwind faster than a massage. After a morning on the trail horseback riding or hiking or biking, our masseuses will have you relaxed and ready for the evening.

Pool and Spa:
Our swimming pool and spa are heated year around. Poolside is a great place to relax, meet new friends and enjoy your wine or your massage.

Meals:
During our Dude Ranch Getaway Weekends you will be on the American Plan meaning all your meals are included. The V6 Ranch Cafe offers tasty home-style breakfast, lunch and dinners. We serve our own V6 Ranch Grass-Fed Beef along with a wide variety of other entries. Enjoy entertainment on Friday night. Saturday night after dinner you will have a chance to hear from Jack Varian, 50 year owner of the V6 Ranch.
